Re: which list is which
Thanks Kitty, you're right. Sometimes I can't get to read my emails until
the weekend - they pile up in a folder devoted to this group. Then I wonder
if I'm too late to respond - or respond and feel foolish when the answer has
already been given.
I was just too sensitive because several other questions I asked had gone
unanswered and I think I'm having one of those post-pms weeks (I'm starting
The Change - there has got to be some herbs I can eat and make into tea to
help this process.). On top of that I've been out to one of our big prisons
(936 inmates at high medium security - life without parole types) to do some
training. It was such a dismal sight! Several of our prison are landscaped
beautifully by the inmates. This place is in western Oklahoma and doesn't
even have the sculptural beauty of tumbleweeds on the yard!
I swear that we have less trouble at the "pretty prisons" than at these
places. Instead of finishing my annual TB screening study, I'll do a study
to compare the number of nature related inmate programs (gardening, wild
horses, dogs, etc.) with the number of assaults and serious incidents.
So leaving that place left me in a foul mood for awhile. Isn't it amazing
how environment can get the best of you sometimes? No wonder hanging out at
the barn where I keep my horse and puttering in the yard helps! Later, Fran

Fran,
Sorry about that. If I'd known the answer, I would have replied, but I've
never grown fennel. Sometimes it takes waiting for someone who reads only
the digest to pick up on your question and the answer comes a week later.
I've had several of my questions go unanswered. If I still can't find out,
I ask again. Hopefully someone who knows will jump on this one.
Kitty
