Re: attending fair?

Ceres: Yes, I asked several of the MG's that were attending the gardens,
but no luck there. The kids of course loved the tunnel...I lost count of
how many times they went through it. The gardens were so lovely...I
always enjoy my time spent wandering around looking for new ideas and
fortunately my husband and kids all feel the same. I wish we had a
chance at another day at the fair, but we are flying out at the end of
the week (Friday) to go visit Tony in Vancouver and also meet Judy
B...so that more than compensates!!! One of these years we are
determined to do an overnight camping trip to the fair, so we don't have
to try to do it all in one day...Have fun! and maybe we'll have to plan
just a get together day...maybe Mardi from Cedar Rapids would like to
come...it's been a long time since I visited the arboretum at DesMoines
and there's always Reiman Gardens.

Melody, I worked till 12. Did you talk to the MGs hosting the garden? I
was <br>still at the fair taking it in. The 2 gardens I worked on were
against the <br>Ag Bldg on the east & west side of the steps. The east
side garden is the <br>'formal' garden with the cement table & benches
on the brick patio and the west <br>side is the 'informal' garden which
we did in tropicals this year. Did your <br>children experience the
tunnel? I was so hoping to met you! I love the fair <br>also. I am going
again on Thurs.<br>
