Oh, Jim, that makes me shudder and also makes me think of my husband who grew 
up in a coal mining camp, the 13th of 17 children.  At approx age 8 he had 
his tonsils taken & was circumcised at the same time by an old mine dr, Dr Cook, 
in his office.  Said he didn't know which end hurt worse and I'm sure he got 
no sympathy from his 6 brothers.
