It could take years, Jesse. Mom and dad's night blooming cereus took about
14 or 15 years to bloom. (They got a start from my Aunt Lorainne.) Still,
it is worth the time investment. My goodness! When Aunt Lorainne's plant
showed readiness for a bloom, she called the whole family in Indy and we all
went over and waited to watch them open. Their fragrance was like heaven!
Before we left the next morning, the bloom looked like a limp, wet rope.
Blessings,
Bonnie (SW OH - zone 5)
