RE: sweet autumn clematis

I LOVE my Sweet Autumn Clematis! It is a show piece when it blooms which it
does vigorously. I have had no seedlings from it thus far. But it grows
with such vigor that our neighbor enjoys the spill-over from our trellis
over their fence, down about 20' and at least dropping 4' down their side of
the privacy fence. I love the fragrance too. I wouldn't mind a seedling or
two to share with friends.

That huckster on the Weather Channel--P. Allen Smith--was touting this
plant last weekend. And I have to admit, the one he showed on an arbor
was quite attractive. He also said he cuts it back all the time.
