Well, this is a cheese grits recipe!
Cheese Grits
1 1/2c grits 7c water 1t salt 1lb cheddar cheese, grated 2 eggs 1 garlic clove, minced 1t Tabasco sauce (more if you want it hotter) 1/4lb (one stick) butter or margarine
Cook grits in salted water until thick. Add remaining ingredients and bake in a casserole dish 45 minutes at 350-400 degrees. Makes an excellent substitute for potatoes.

Never liked grits either, but I have one recipe that is very tasty - would anyone care to try it?
Having grown up on grits, I love them any way they are cooked, especially
cheese grits. Cathy, I'd love to have your recipe, but you'd better send it
privately so as not to cause gags on the list.
