Maybe. But .jpg tells me that. Oh, now wait a minute......on newer
computers (like my sister's) the default is to NOT show extensions, the
craziest idea they've come up with IMO. In fact, I think mine did a version
of that by hiding some extensions, but I went in and changed the default.
Admittedly, on my sister's XP you can hover over the file name in Windows
Explorer and the pop-up shows the extension, but I'd rather just see them
all on the screen.
So I suppose if the extension doesn't show, the P would be a great
indicator. Oh! another thought occurred to me. In Windows Explorer if your
files are organized alphabetically, all the Ps would remain together. This
would help if you had a tendency to name other files like 102biscuit.doc or
4dough.wpd, so they wouldn't get interspersed with your P files. Still,
chance is slim because you'd rarely save a doc or a wpd in the same
directory as your pics.
