My corn and the pinto beans that I grew did not do well this year. The
corn looks rotten and the bean plants yellowed and faded way too soon.
They said it was weather related. Too much rain...lots of cooler
weather.

From my perspective, there have been a lot fewer butterflies of all
kinds in my garden (I don't spray). Some have speculated that it may be
due to the much cooler weather we in the midwest have had this summer.
(For what it's worth our agricultural educator at the extension says
that corn and soybeans are not happy with it either!)
