OT - cost of living

I am not cheap; I am thrifty.
Just got back from the store, using a few coupons, store sales, and a
rebate. The items I bought are all name brand, all things I like and use
(though I normally wouldn't buy that much candy)and cost a total of
$4.50 (including the stamp for the rebate!):


5 boxes cereal
3 # can of coffee
18oz peanut butter
2-12oz bags Hershey Nuggets
2 jars pasta sauce
1 # spaghetti

Kind of makes up for gas costing $2.64 / gallon - but I had a $3 off coupon on gas too. ;+)
