I give just about all my hot peppers to my friend's African Grey parrot. "Prissy" loves them -- especially jalapenos that have turned red.

Speaking of peppers, this is the first time I've grown any - It's the ornamental AAS winner, Black Pearl. Mine haven't branched much but have clusters of plack pearl peppers at the tops. "As the plant matures, the black peppers turn red, adding a new color to the plant. While edible, the peppers are very hot. Use with care!" Has anyone ever grown this? What do you do with the peppers?

Or, could they have cross-pollinated with peppers that are hotter? Pepper
specialist, anyone?
