Tower

One of the considerable benefits of living in Sacramento during the 70s and 80s was the ability to rummage in the stacks of the original Tower Records store. It was a one of a kind experience--searching for recordings with the aid of a salesperson who actually knew something about each of the various option available [and about some the were not available]. So, it is with great sadness that I read that Tower is now entering bankruptcy for the second time in nearly as many years.
