Hope she's not too achy tomorrow. Hot bath & stretching helps. If she can sleep with her head elevated it will limit the swelling from bruises on her face. Since she isn't tall, the seatbelt may have bruised her neck. Icepack on that will help- 20 minutes on & 20 minutes off. It's hard to give up a good car before it wears out. Keep us posted.

Don't know about the car yet. The appraiser will likely look at it tomorrow. They may total it--it blue book's at about $4Gs and it will cost about $3Gs to fix. Would be too bad if they do; it's a great car with at least another 100,000 serious miles to go.

After 4 hours, I went back and pried her out. She was pronounced
bruised but unbowed, and after another 30 minutes filling out papers,
they released her. Then we spent another hour at the body shop filling
out more papers and conversing with her insurance company on the phone.
