Bonnie, I don't trust seatbelts either. I know, I know...but don't trouble yourself, it will fall on deaf eyes.

Kitty, you might want to check to see whether there is someone in Ft. Wayne
who will do that sort of thing for you with your car, especially with your
disk problem. I imagine a seat belt would be a better solution by itself.
Blessings,

Air bags definitely can be lifesavers, but they do scare me. I have bad
disks in my neck that don't bother me for the most part. I asked the dr
what things I should avoid so I don't make matters worse. He said just not
to turn my head too quickly. With airbags I don't think I'd have much
choice in the matter and might end up paralyzed.

OOh, too bad! Those air bags may save lives, but they really shake you up. I hope Ms Fatma's really all right - reaction will set in later - and that the bad guy had good auto insurance. Auralie In a message dated 08/28/2006 1:25:18 PM Eastern Daylight Time, islandjim1@verizon.net writes: When she was on her way to school this AM, some guy in a pickup bounded out of a side street and crashed into the left front fender of Ms Fatma's car. He smacked her hard enough to let loose the air bags and pop the sunroof open. Apparently, Ms Fatma was not hurt, but she's so loaded with adrenaline, it's difficult to tell [she's mired down in the local emergency room getting checked out right now]. As soon as she calls me, and I pick her up, we have to report to the body shop and get the repairs underway.
