RE: condolences
The hospice person was telling my sister about the bereavement programs.
And all I could think of right then is that my mother-in-law joined up
after my father-in-law died and she was remarried within months to a
widower in the group. I did not remind my sister of that. Maybe in a
couple months she'll think it's funny.
The hospice folks are such heroes. My sister does not exactly live in a
major metropolitan area but when she called they were there fast. She
was so grateful for their support.

I'm glad they had hospice to help. It is truly a stellar program. I
spent 16 of my best work years as a hospice nurse. Encourage them to
participate in the follow up bereavement programs. It really does help.
