Ow! Are you icing it or anything? Perhaps you should see a dr about it.

Wonder if acupuncture would work.
I've got another sort of foot problem. Sometime in the middle of the
night Friday as I was trekking to the water closet, I misstepped and,
apparently, broke or dislocated a bone in the vicinity of the ball of
my right foot. Saturday morning I could barely walk. If I had been a
horse, of course, I would have been euthanized--and by noon Saturday,
that was an increasingly appealing option. This morning I pulled a
tight slipper over the swollen foot and it's been passably comfortable
most of the day.

Yeah, really off topic, but...
Have any of you experienced this problem? If so, what did you find
was the best treatment? Did you purchase any type of hardware -
insole - healpad? There's so much on the internet that is
"guaranteed" that I have my doubts. Can't afford to waste money. I
don't want to see a doctor about it if I don't have to.
I've been dealing with this for over a year now and only recently
discovered what it was. Some mornings I can barely walk until I get
going for awhile. Or if I watch TV for a bit then try to get up to
go to the kitchen, ow, ow, ow. Once I'm moving along I'm pretty much
ok though.
I found some exercises I'll try, but wondered if anything
purchasable would speed the healing.
Thanks for anything you can offer.
