Re: OT - Plantar Fasciitis

Kitty, When I had this a few years back the doc told me not to go without
shoes ever. He said if I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the
night I was to put shoes on first! I bought Birks to wear in the house and
Birkenstock arch supports for my shoes and was pretty quickly cured. So much
for sexy heels. Kathy

Yeah, really off topic, but...
Have any of you experienced this problem? If so, what did you find was
the
best treatment? Did you purchase any type of hardware - insole - healpad?
There's so much on the internet that is "guaranteed" that I have my
doubts.
Can't afford to waste money. I don't want to see a doctor about it if I
don't have to.

I've been dealing with this for over a year now and only recently
discovered
what it was. Some mornings I can barely walk until I get going for
awhile.
Or if I watch TV for a bit then try to get up to go to the kitchen, ow,
ow,
ow. Once I'm moving along I'm pretty much ok though.

I found some exercises I'll try, but wondered if anything purchasable
would
speed the healing.

Thanks for anything you can offer.
