it was a slow day at the lugwart factory, so i borrowed a page from theresa's book and put up a yahoo briefcase of photos of desert wildflowers. i took these about 30 years ago in the spring in death valley [i used to camp there three or four time a year--whenever i want to get away from my wife for awhile]. i have no idea what most of them are; maybe someone who still lives out that way does. the only one i know for sure is the desert verbena.
address is http://briefcase.yahoo.com/islandjim2003.
oh yeah, there's also a picture of a barrel cactus that's to die for and a picture of a female coyote, who became almost friendly at one of my campsites. [the male was far more skittish.]
