Re: RE: Compost/berms

Do you need any berms on your property? Some of that stuff would make a great underpinning for a berm. Of course, you'd have to add soil on top if you wanted to plant immediately.

We aren't supposed to overload our garden waste barrels either, but there is
no way I could have a compost area large enough for the amount of stuff I
create. Maybe once I have everything exactly as I want it.... haha- I know
that will never happen- I can always think of something else to buy, move,
change, etc. So, sometime before 2 weeks go by and the garden waste truck
returns, I have to haul some of the sod out of that barrel and throw it in
(forgive me!) the trash barrel. Then they will take it all away.

I think you and David need to pull your money together and buy this....
I could see it now... a gardening city! And David gets to ride the
tractor! :)

Here, we have to bag all yard waste... and you can't put anything heavy
into a paper bag :(.... You need to start a compost section for this
type of thing. I send my weeds to where DH works.... the animals love to
munch on them, all other stuff goes into a compost area.

If I had won the powerball jackpot- I probably would have bought this!
Then
I would have lots and lots for room to plant things. And I wouldn't
have
to
deal with the ding-dang "green waste" guy refusing to take my barrel
because
it was too heavy!

Got just the thing for you to buy!
