Josh,
You are wrong-- the garden trains come equipped with snow plows and snow
blowers... they do run all year long! Your winters are probably similar
to mine in Zone 5 Northern Illinois....

I got my first lionel train 47 years ago... and still have it... and it
still runs under my tree yearly.
