RE: OT loss of sight/now migranes

The key is to catch them early, before the full blown headache is on you.
Taking caffiene to constrict blood flow is very helpful to avert a migrane.
I get a funky visual aura before a migrane (things just look a bit fuzzy,
sometimes sparkly, or sometime just wavy- which makes is seem like I am
going to faint, but its just a visual illusion) I drink as much caffiene as
I can stomach as quickly as possible and take a couple of ibuprofen. If I
catch it early enough, I can avoid the migrane.

Melody...what works for you?  I get horrible headaches too.  If they EVER
legalize POT...LOL...then I won't have that problem!!! HA   That was the
only thing in college that got rid of my migraines.  Back then, I got them
so bad I wanted to just die so I wouldn't hurt anymore.  I feel for people
who get migraines.  I got my first one at 12 years old.  Lasted for 2 days.
I remember being in a dark room, my mother putting cold washrags on my
head...and I hurt too bad to cry.  If I scrunched up my face to cry...it
hurt even worse!!!
