Hedge Question

O.K., I know you all are a WEALTH of information...and I've looked but must confess not diligently because time has not allowed it...but I am looking for a shrub that would make a good privacy hedge and windbreak. I would like for it to stay green year round (boxwood grows so SLOWLY though) and maybe have some interesting color or flowers. Any suggestions for a FAST growing, easy to establish hedge-type plant? Thanks.
