I did a lot of cooking too, and finally got taken out to dinner the day after Christmas when on the verge of collapse! Had a variety of Christmas cookies planned, but ended up baking chocolate chip cookies every other day (3 batches) to keep up with demand!

I forgot to mention I'm also baking (not making) two pies, cherry and
apple. All of this is a bit much for my small family, but my nephew is
home for Christmas and we all want this to be a wonderful Christmas for
him, so we may be going a bit overboard in all areas. He has to return
to Fort Bragg on the 31st and 5 days later he is off to Iraq. He just
turned 20 on the 20th and he is an MP in the Army.
