RE: OT:cats & leather

We have a leather recliner and my cats don't bother it, but then, the only
thing my cats claw on are their cat scratcher trees (we have 4 of them +
those card board scratchers in every room) and my husbands old futon cover.
So, my cat George loves leather (he rubs on shoes and my purse) and he
really likes sleeping on the chair. I was a little worried about incidental
scratches- like when they jumped on or off of it- but this does not appear
to be happening. The leather in our recliner is very heavy, so that might
be why.
Good luck.

For weather I go to :

On another topic, does anyone have any experience with cats and leather
furniture? I played all afternoon on a program that allowed me to
arrange the furniture in my family room- I did the kitchen too, just for
fun. Anyway, I'm considering getting a leather recliner, maybe Misson
Style, but I'm worried about my cats clawing it up.

Any thoughts?
