No need to change the water nor fertilize.  If you want to fertilize, very
dilute so as not to burn roots I would think. Fert doesn't boost current
year's growth.   Bulbs cost 40 cents to $1.00, and even when originally
planted in soil stand a good chance of reverting to sparse flowers in
succeeding years.  Don't bother planting unless you're one of those wh just
can't bear not to....
