Last month at our applique group mtg one of the quilters told about her cat 
who consumed a long, long pc of fabric (actually the outer trimming of a full 
size quilt).  The cat had to under go surgery and remain as a patient to remove 
the fabric.  She said it was unbelievable she would or could take in the 
scrap.
