Re: brrrr!

Yeah, ice here this morning too, in the outdoor water for the cats. I brought my Chinese maple in a few days ago, lost annuals in the planters but zinnias still OK! The last storm (which Theresa mentioned) was so warm that some of the ski areas ended up with a lot of slush -- and they couldn't use the snow machines because it was too warm!

80?!?

It is supposed to be 16- but with the wind - it is really cold to the bone
today and feels worse than when it was zero out, but it is suppose to be
rising in temps all night.

Expecting Judy's snow overnight (of course, tomorrow is my first day off in
forever, grumbling as I know I have to be out in it!)... expect 2-4 inches.
BUT they are warning that if Jim's front gets here from the gulf at the same
time- then 8-12inches... I sure hope the guys remember to come plow my
driveway if we get that much! John's back is just starting to get better, he
definitely can't be shoveling snow and I don't have the time!

Andrea- hope you got to the store to buy some winter clothes:)

Gosh Judy, cocoa sounds good. Of course it's over 80 here. But an arctic
front comes in Tuesday night. Wednesday's high? 35 degrees. And only a
slim (20%) chance of rain w/ this front because it's so blasted dry. I'm
still choking from the dust raised raking leaves all day.

First real snow 4 inches on the ground this morning. Granddaughter &

are out making snowmen. I promised eggs & toast & cocoa when they get
tired.
I told KayLee she had to come in when grandpa got cold. She can be blue
with
chattering teeth & refuse to admit she's cold. The base of her man is up
to
her shoulder. This one may take a while to melt.
