Auralie, you and your spouse will be in my prayers, too.
He should be feeling better by next week. Antibiotics are wonderful. Hope you get to have a little of the Christmas spirit anyway. Bet the staff at the hospital would love to have some of your cookies while they're working Christmas eve & day. I know I would!
It isn't just the men, my mom was stubborn about doctors & hospitals too.

Oh no Auralie... I am so sorry to hear this. Men can be very stubborn! Been
there many times with DH over various illness's.

I am glad he is in a place that can give him the care he needs, not that you
couldn't do the same, but for some reason they listen to them <lol>.

Know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully he can come
home for Xmas after a few days of drugs and oxygen. Keep us posted!

Having had pneumonia more times that I want to admit, once he is healthy,
get the vaccination for it!

I put my DH into the hospital today with pneumonia and lungs filled with
fluid causing heart problems. It has been a nightmarish three days trying
to get him to admit that something was wrong, when he could hardly
stand or get out of bed. GRRRR! MEN!
I guess this puts paid to our Christmas plans. Please remember us in
your prayers.

Don't want to put a damper on anyone elses's holidays. I wish all of you
great people the happiest of whatever holiday season your prefer.
