Gosh Jim, you're so good at this - can you find homes for all the new
plants you make? I'm sure Squinty would be a lot of help. You just need
patience! Slugger loves to help me trim the grass edges with the hand
shears. I worry someday I'll cut off one of his toes.

longer allowed on the potting bench]. It's been cool here since--nights 
low 50s, days mid 60s--but they have really grown in the lathhouse 
environment [damp, semi-shade]. All have sprouted adult-sized leaves, 
raising the possibility that some of them may bloom before it's time to 
set them out in spring.

Speaking of Spring, I'm ready. Had enough winter. Ready for the 75-85 
degree days and short pants.
