The much-hyped storm brought us maybe an inch of rain and no snow. I always know we are not going to get what the forecasts say, but I figured with snow levels supposedly dropping to 1500 ft we would see SOMETHING. But no. All the local mountains got some and they closed a bunch of roads but there were just a few lonely puddles at my house. What we did get was a lot of wind. I mowed and raked the front yard last Saturday and now it is under a foot of leaves. Well... at least I shouldn't have to mow for another couple months. Tis the season to rake leaves, fa la la la.
