Always wear something on your head and safety glasses. Why you ask? Well,
I was trimming back a large overgrown privet up on a step ladder, large limb
cut loose where I wanted it to, but hit the edge of jerkboy's roof on his
shack and flipped back and coldcocked me in the head. The do rag I always
wear kept it from tearing the skin and all my glasses are safety glasses (I
get them through work) and that saved the left eye. Happened so fast I
couldn't jump off the ladder. Just dressed it w/ lemon verbena/witch hazel
toner. It's turning sriously purple already. That ought to start some
rumors at work tomorrow - LOL. Oh well. So if you're gonna do any
heavy trimming over your head - words to the wise my friends! Be safe -
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & like that....
