Needlepointers call them UFOs too. I have one that dates to 1976! Cathy, west central IL, z5b On Dec 30, 2011, at 8:25 AM, BONNIE_HOLMES wrote:
Quilters call unfinished projects UFOs. Currently, my guild has acontest to finish up those UFOs. Last year, I made a resolution to work on mine and got 7 completed. I'm renewing my resolution this year to getmore done. :)So, you find out you are so normal. I think unusual is for the person todecide on a project and get it done before starting on any others. So glad you are back in your house with holiday decorations and good memories. Certainly lifts the spirit.B ETN Zone 7 Remember the River Raisin, the Alamo, the Maine, Pearl Harbor, 911. ----- Original Message ----- From: TeichFauna@aol.com To: gardenchat@hort.net Sent: Friday, December 30, 2011 7:33:17 AM Subject: Re: [CHAT] Merry Christmas/Happy New Year HA! I love it. I'm so delighted to hear that others have half finishedprojects as well. My resolution every year is to finish everything already started, and I'm always thrilled that at least a couple things get done. Problem is that the list is long, and I seem to always add to it. Have thehouse fairly done though......well, if you overlook the fact that themoulding isn't up on the new back door yet, and no paint in that part......due to not finding a matching one, since it's been discontinued.....and the backsplash isn't quite completed.....and the list goes on. However, at least it is liveable, and for the first time since before the hurricane, we got to have Christmas in the house again!!!!!! YEAH!!!! Was literally "likeChristmas" to open up boxes of decorations, etc. and put them out again.....so many wonderful memories! Anyway, thanks, you all make me feel like my life is normal. HA! Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!!!! Thanks for the past yearsof friendship, advice, sharing, etc. and looking forward to another year tocome!!! Wishing each of you the very best of happiness and good health.....and successful gardens!!!!
