yeah, florida, too. like lemmings. every spring there is a mass migration of them onto major highways to become roadkill. not real bright animals. we've got one that lives in the culvert under our driveway. the short one has chanced upon it twice [i think] on the drive and hit it in the butt with a broom. which only sends it back to the culvert [and not into traffic, as would be my preference].
