thanks, nora. guess i'll install spamkiller tonight. and "spam, eggs and spam" is one of my favorite mp routines of all-time, right up there with "i'm a lumberjack, and i'm okay." maybe 10 years ago the wall street journal, of all unlikely publications, reprinted the whole "spam, spam" list in an article on hormel. wish now i'd saved it.

Yes to all Jim. I have Spam killer and it's very helpful in reducing Spam
for the most part. It keys on certain words. The Spam folk are clever though
and sometimes they get around it by avoiding those words, then I just add
their e-mail address to my filter with a quick click here and there . I go
in and check filtered addresses to make sure a desirable didn't get
filtered. I just scroll down then delete all. It only takes minutes.
I also have add/subtract which does a excellent job of killing the pop
ups .
Of course I remember Spam, Spam eggs and Spam. It's one of my favorites.
