LOL  all this transpired well before Bush was even Governor.  The military 
budget cuts began with Reagan, and  hit an all time high during former Pres. 
Bush's presidency.  Now there is further discussion of more base closings and 
budget cuts.  The military organizations that lobby in Washington are most 
assuredly in uproar.

Just as a bit of info for those that aren't aware......a family of a fallen 
soldier in Iraq now gets a measly $200 since it is no longer considered a 
"war".
