Re: early arrivals - tree peonies
I have no experience with tree peonies, but other bareroots have done well
for me following plan A also. I have potted up some plants in late fall and
set them in a corner of the garage that does not get direct sun but also
isn't dark dark. I would not leave them bareroot and I wouldn't bring them
inside (and I can't think of any other alternatives!)
It surely does sound like you got some nice plants for a very nice price - I
hope they grow for you.
I tried the mycorrhizal fungus for the first time this past year - I am
anxious to see if I can tell any difference this year between the ones that
got some and the ones that didn't.
