mulch


That's how I was able to get 10 tons of compost years
ago.  The city had a lean-to structure to protect the material and you could
just drive up and help yourself.  I would shovel the compost into old mulch
bags and put in my trunk.  Lots of people have figured this out over the
years and they moved the material inside the fence.  Now they load it into
pickup trucks with a front-end loader for the public during certain hours.
But without a truck, I'm out of luck.
