Re: AA Catalogue Now Blues
Kitty,
If you love the blues, try setting your computer to
http://www.kpft.org/index.html on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and follow
the links. This requires a RealPlayer (free version works great). It's the
Houston Pacifica station, but on weekends they are exclusively music, and
mostly blues, some live. Here's a link for their playlist:
http://www.kpft.org/studio/playlists.php which also gives the schedule.
Great listening.
Some of our favorites are Keb Mo, B. B. King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Etta
James, and Saffire (Upppity Blues Women).

Yes, have heard of Kenny Wayne Shepherd , but have no recordings. Other
favs are Jonny Lang, Gary Moore, Jeff Healey. My list is short because the
blues is rarely played on our radio staions. Hearing something you like is
what sparks interest. The day I heard "Lie to Me" on the radio I googled
it
as soon as I got home and found it had been recorded by then 16 yr old
Jonny
Lang, who sounds more like 40.
I recently got the 3 CD+DVD boxset simply titled SRV. But I don't have a
DVD player, so I just copied the CDs and sold the set on ebay.
