AHS heat zone map is based on average number of days per year above 86 degrees.
I didn't remember that - I have a map on my wall at work.

Isn't the AHS map heat zones (ie based on number of days at a maximum  
temp), and the USDA map cold zones (ie the lowest temperatures  
recorded)?
