My V day featured a potted Rhododendron 'Minnetonka'. Blooms are white with a violet edge. Will squeeze it into the garden somehow!

Valentines Day - OT? Well yes, but it often does have something to do with flowers. The following, however, does not:
Our local paper has a Cheers and Jeers section. The editors usually use
it to cheer/jeer a legislator, a university, a company for something
they've done. I liked this one today:
"CHEERS to 8 Indianapolis White Castle restaurants for providing a
creative and different way for their loyal customers to celebrate St.
Valentine's Day. Couples craving sliders can make a dinner reservation
at White Castle for Monday, Feb 14. Customers will be greeted at the
castle door by a host and escorted to a candle-lit table. JEERS, though,
to any guy who thinks the White Castle dinner alone is going to be
enough."
