Re: yahoo pics


Yahoo will only take jpegs, so I took a large bmp (34,000kb) and made a jpg
of it (2100kb) which is substantially larger than most files I have there.
The viewed pic shows  Full size: 5928x1961 pixels.  It opens quickly for me
but I am on cable.  If someone with a dial-up wants to see if it is slow to
open, here's the url:

Again, I don't know much about these things.  Maybe Yahoo creates another
size for viewing - bigger than the thumbnail they create for you but smaller
than your photo.  When they put that "Full size: 5928x1961 pixels" under
your photo, it's obvious you're not seeing full size.  But they have to
retain that somewhere if they are goin to make posters for you.
