Re: jesse' new found liberty

I can definitely vouch for the fact that I not only have no time for my yard but absolutely no inclination either. Don't know what I'll do when I don't have the teenagers here (son and nephew) to do the yard work.

I know what you mean about the labor intensive thing. I think that's why I
decided to get my masters and teach and consult rather than work in the
nursery business. I found out quick that it left me NO time for my own
yard! That's what I love most about gardening. Experimenting with designs
and new plants at my place. I still love propagation, but not for selling
purposes. I love to watch seeds germinate and then grow into something
really interesting and beautiful. I've decided to try and really turn my
place into a show place this year. Although if I have 2 new dogs by spring
I'll probably be running around the yard going "get out of there!" most of
the time. LOL!

Ohhh, I might take a modeling job if it suits me...I like runway. It's
fun.
But it's a "whatever" thing to me. The girls are excited though.
OHMYGOSH..it's all they've been talking about. And I went with them
because
I didn't want them to get sucked into something. And I'll be going with
them on gigs too. I know how crazy the industry can be. I am more
interested in the needlepoint and opening a knitting/needlework type
store.
Thought about the gardening thing...but it's just too labor intensive for
me
and too seasonal. I'm ready to power down. I feel like the past five
years
have been a blur.
