Andrea,

You're teaching me things too.  I'm not familiar with V. tinus, probably
grown more in the south although it says to Zone 7 in my readings. The
variety 'Compactum' looks nice and tops out at 6'.  V. odoratissimum is too
tender for NY. Still lots to learn!
