Zem,
Nothing like leaving your own stuff behind and working on someone else's
garden. At least you get to shop for new and exciting stuff! I love the
plant hunt, but I'm a great procrastinator when it comes to getting things
in the ground!

Subject: Re: [CHAT] Viburnum NOW Foundation Plantings
My daughter and her husband have just purchased a new home. I was checking
out the sun and existing plantings yesterday as I new there were 'meatballs'
around the front porch. Well, the meat balls consist of Nandina, holly
(looks like a Burfordi in tiny balls), a sad Viburnum of as yet unknown
cultivar (but pruned anyway), Pittisporum, and a murdered Crepe Myrtle. The
back yard has a couple of hollies (unknown) in the far corners and nothing
else. She has an in-ground pool which really needs landscaping. I can't
wait to dust off my shovel and start transforming -- like I don't have
enough to do here! :-) zem zone 7 West TN
