You're asking the wrong person. I am not a hot pepper fan. Jalapeno is about as hot as I go, and that's only on certain things. I wonder if you could do a "hottness" search. Although if Black Pearl is new, it may not be listed yet.

Thanks, Andrea. Looked up in the Park catalog. Too bad they don't say how hot [most of the hot peppers in the vegetable section of the catalog have Scoville unit assigned]. All of the ornamental peppers I've tried are about as hot as Thai devils or cayennes. Wonder how this one compares with those?

Got any idea of its Scoville number, Ceres? I love hot peppers so look at all of them as potential sauce and ragout enhancers if not salad greens.
