Good idea to cut your Daniel back. You will have a nicer fuller plant that way. You can check my web site for more info on pruning as we added that little section a couple of months ago. You really can't go wrong with it but many people like to read a little more about it. Remember it does take a while for it to grow out and start blooming again but it's worth it.

Thanks Dave...haven't heard from you in a while! Happy belated birthday
to you! Hey, I made the decision to trim my hibiscus before spring. I
cut down to where there were several other branches coming out together.
It was getting so tall but not filling out. I don't know if I did that
correctly or not...I guess time will tell.
