We seem to be getting the southern end of that storm now--it's raining, but 70 degrees. It's advertised to be quite chilly tomorrow [mid to low 50s]. Hope they're wrong about that!
Local garden club has sent out a request for plants for its mid-April plant sale. Looks like an opportunity to move out a bunch of cuttings I've made, potted, and grown on, but didn't know what to do with.

On the suggestion of a friend I watched "The Dog Whisperer" on the National Geographic channel. According to last night's expert Otis will not be an adult until he's three! It's just the constant destruction that makes me nuts. Yesterday he took a roll of paper towels (still in the holder) and turned it into confetti. It's that sort of thing that makes me want to hurt him. However, some of his behavior has improved dramatically. For instance, he can go piddle in the back yard and come back inside without chasing the cats, and that is an excellent thing. I know he gets lonely staying in the kitchen all the time, but he's still way to rambunctious to go anywhere else in the house. He is definitely better on the leash -- not great yet, but much better.

How is Otis doing now? Getting past that chewing stage? I know you were
pretty upset with him for awhile. Sounds like he's enjoying himself.

The same front that's bring you a blizzard brought us about 2-3 inches of
snow last night. Our streets are still covered because there's not enough
traffic to melt it, but I understand the streets in real towns around here
are perfectly clear. It's not going to reach 40 degrees here today -- brrr;
however, it will be close to 60 by the middle of next week. Otis was a hoot
in the snow. He was initially wary, but when it stuck his nose in it he
apparently loved what he found. The next thing I knew he was running with
his nose under the snow like a snowplow. :-)
