So how do you feel when UPS screws up, Auralie? I lost some very expensive scion wood because they didn't deliver on weekends.

The problem with that approach, Jim, is that even when a plant order that has been lost because of USPS inefficiency is promptly replaced, the customer still feels dissatisfied. I know I will never again order roses from the place that sent them from California by mail over a holiday weekend, even though they replaced them when I complained. Might be cheaper to use USPS with a certain expectancy of loss and replacement than to use their higher-priced competitors. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
