Wow, it sounds like you've had good and bad!  I'm sorry to hear about the
glassware -- I really like fine crystal/glassware and can't imagine losing 
a bunch of it.

Good luck on the furnace -- I hope there really is no catch!  And if not,
congratulations!  :)
