It sort of depends on how large a vine you can tolerate. Here's a bunch
of web sites for vegetable seeds. Most will have cherry tomatoes.
Thompson & Morgan, http://www.thompson-morgan.com
Cook's Garden, http://www.cooksgarden.com
Nichols, http://www.nicholsgardennursery.com
Renee's Garden, http://www.reneesgarden.com
Pinetree Garden Seeds, http://www.superseeds.com
Seeds of Change, http://www.seedsofchange.com
John Scheepers Kitchen Garden Seeds, http://www.kitchengardenseeds.com
Bountiful Gardens, http://www.bountifulgardens.org
Johnny's Selected Seeds, http://www.johnnyseeds.com
Fedco Seeds, http://www.fedcoseeds.com
Seeds From Italy, http://www.growitalian.com
Vermont Bean Seed, http://www.vermontbean.com
Shumway's, http://www.rhshumway.com.
I'm trying Thompson & Morgan's "Gartenperle" this year. It's touted as
"ideal for hanging baskets," so that's where I'm going to grow it.

I just came from the grocery. They carry cherry tomatoes on the vine
that taste wonderful this time of year, but, once again they were sold
out. Once I tasted these I haven't been able to go back to those
things in the plastic containers. It's got me thinking I might try
once more to grow my own this summer. Any suggestions? Must be
sweet, meaty, and must be cherry or grape size.

You're right, Lynda. And I didn't even mention that my first tomato
of the spring, a Rutgers, is almost ripe.
Squinty keeps pestering me to go outside with her. When I do, it
turns out she wants me to watch her roll in the driveway. I keep
thinking she wants me to roll with her, but then I wonder if I did,
what kind of message would that send to our neighbors, who are from
the Ukraine.

day here today. Sunny, light breeze, 70+ degrees--and the 10-day
forecast shows much the same. I don't want to curse myself, but I
think
winter's over for me. Now, let's see, where did I put those seeds....
