Donna, that's a real blizzard. What we got is pretty much as I expected - it is do-able. This morning I shoveled the drive approach where the snowplow plowed me in, huge hard boulders of snow. Got an adtl inch or two after last night's shoveling. Did the sidewalk too. It's a beautiful day w a clear blue sky. I plan to tackle several projects around the house since my office is closed today. Maybe even do a little baking if I go to the store later.
Has anyone heard from Chris Lindsey? He hasn't responded to a couple of emails I sent. I know he is extremely busy, but I am curious if the Bon Vivant catalog will be updated. The page says "Here are some of our plants for Spring 2007." - the word I'm concerned about is "some".

ha... I did the same thing yesterday.... a few times. This morning there is a 5ft drift in the way of me getting out of my driveway and a few shorter ones that the SUV isn't going to clear... Snow up to the windows on the south side of house.... It has buried my patio furniture on the west side and even the pond is totally covered and over the bridge which I estimate makes it 3ft deepthere too..(not good, gonna loose my fish!).. they are predicting anothercouple of inches for me today then the deep freeze comes till the weekend... sigh. They claim we got 9 inches, hard to say with the drifting. Birds areon their own today, since I can't even get to the feeders unless I go thru some major drifts. (which is rough when you are 5ft 2 inches tall!) Might just throw some seed out there and hope for the best. I doubt I will make itto work today.... I planned ahead and brought stuff to do from home and warnedmy boss yesterday. To those who are getting this storm today- watch it- especially if you get the winds that came here with it! And to those in the south.... watch out for those twirly's. Mostly about 10 inches, some high points about 15in and of course some low points. It's still coming down and I'll have to shovel again in the morning, but at least a large amount is doneand out of the way. As it stands right now I don't work tomorrow but that could change, so I don't want to have to be shoveling to get to work. Also, I spent the whole day inside on computer projects and then watched some tv. It felt good to get out and move around. I did have to come in several times to briefly warm my hands though. They just can't take the cold.
